Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or process information with service providers that help us operate SprachXP, including:

Public Features

If you use public profile, leaderboard, or achievement features, your display name, avatar, country code, score, rank, and achievement information may be visible to other users of the app.

Data Retention

We keep account, profile, learning progress, and diagnostic data for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain service integrity. Debug reports and logs are kept only as long as needed for troubleshooting and security.

Connection-security audit records are retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted. They are used only to investigate abuse, duplicate anonymous registrations, and technical incidents. They are not used for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Anonymous-profile recovery identifiers are retained while the associated anonymous profile is needed to provide recovery. They are deleted when the associated profile or account data is deleted, and may be removed when an empty anonymous profile is cleaned up.

Your Choices and Rights

You can choose not to link a Google account, although some sync and recovery features may be limited. You may also manage advertising preferences and analytics controls through your device settings and Google settings where available.

Children

SprachXP is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect user information, including authenticated API access, Firebase App Check, transport encryption, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International Processing

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
